As captain of Rapier's Thrust, a privateer ship, Jaelik Tarlsson planned on getting captured by the Roostaan military. He didn't plan on hanging for his trouble. Then again, no privateer ever did. But the ghost of the lady he'd been cursed with demanded that he risk his life to secure dangerous artifacts their enemies could use against their allies in the war.
