• Awards and Honors: Jacobs-Jenkins’s honors include two Obie Awards, the Charles Wintour Award for Most Promising Playwright from the London Evening Standard, a London Critics’ Circle Award for Most Promising Playwriting, a MacArthur Fellowship, the Windham-Campbell Prize for Drama, the Benjamin H. Danks Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Steinberg Playwriting Award, and the inaugural Tennessee Williams Award. He has twice been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
• Faculty Affiliations: Jacobs-Jenkins is Professor in the Practice of Theater and Performance Studies at Yale University. Previous affiliations include NYU, Juilliard, Hunter College, and the University of Texas-Austin.
• Screenwriting: Jacobs-Jenkins is the creator of Kindred for FX on Hulu, based on the novel by Octavia Butler. He was also a Producer on the limited series Watchmen.
