Peter Blickle, Ph.D. (1964), Munich. Since 1980 he has been Professor of Modern History in the University of Bern, Switzerland. His Revolution of 1525, a New Interpretation of the Great German Peasants' War has appeared in English, Italian, and Japanese translations, and it will soon appear in Chinese.
