Sandy Islands, PhD is a licensed psychotherapist and is the owner of Energy Illumination, LLC. She also received her master's degree in Writing Popular Fiction in 2006 and has written a thought for the day book and a novel. She lives in southern California. She completed the first 4 books in this Magical Butterfly series in 2000. This is book #1. Bryce McBratnie, professional actor, joined her in the recording studio in 2014 to turn them into audio books and awaken the characters. A link to download the audio story is inside. Samantha Jo Phan contributed her talent and illustrations in 2021 to complete the process so the story could come alive. Thanks for sharing this journey with us and hope you enjoy the ride. Samantha Jo Phan is the illustrator for all of the Magical Butterfly series books. She's an illustrator based in the California Bay Area. She's worked as a production artist for companies like Walt Disney Interactive, RockYou and Jam City. What she loves about her work is to find creative solutions and come up with a visual language that can be recognized across the globe. Functionality, design, and humor are her main goals. In her spare time you can find her hiking the trails, crafting a fun project, or whipping up tasty recipes. Her personal work is inspired by folk tales, nature and places she has traveled.
