The Cries of A Divorced Pastor

Autor Victor L Powell
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 10 apr 2023
What do you do when you determine that a scream, a holler, or a church shake won't break the grip of guilt and shame off you? Here's one man's answer in "The Cries of a Divorced Pastor" - Victor L. Powell's transparent journey through his own pain and guilt, shame and disappointment, processed through intimate conversations with God. Public figures often appear to be public successes, while their private lives are secret failures. The secular and church worlds prescribe to an image of perfection, forcing people in positions of power to suffer in silence. Powell made personal, painful, and risky decisions accompanied by criticism, condemnation, and consequences. You will discover that as he embraced his connection with God through conversations, his cries turned from shame to forgiveness and restoration, proof that God can talk you through it all.
