For years I investigated autism, analyzing every article that discussed the subject in the hope of understanding what was hidden behind the complex, compromised, and yet deeply joyful personality of my autistic brother. What could I do to help him? I spent years trying to grasp the sense of it, embarking on spiritual journeys and various types of therapy until I eventually understood that it was not my brother who did not exist, but rather myself. During this voyage of self-discovery and awareness, where the scienti c and spiritual worlds intersect, I have encountered extraordinary people worthy of endless respect.
