Notă biografică
Jenna Woods developed the original Nur Method of coordingated practice, from over 30 years' experience with finger cymbals as a Middle Eastern dancer/percussionist, combined with professional Aston-Patterning training in the teaching and application of fluid biomechanics. Between eight different sets of cymbals (and counting), she explores the range of her instruments in powerful meditative sound concerts, plays with other musicians, and teaches Zillfest workshops to celebrate, inspire, teach and advance the art of playing finger cymbals, both within and beyond Middle Eastern traditions. She lives in Colorado.
Textul de pe ultima copertă
"Jenna's knowledge is remarkable and her love for playing zills infectious. This book deserves a place on the bookshelf of any Middle Eastern dancer, especially teachers." Suzanna Del Vecchio, Oriental Dance artist, international instructor and performer
