Descriere

The Deuteromycota, known informally as "Deuteromycetes" were once considered a phylum of Fungi. The term is now used to denote species of fungi that are members of the fungal phyla Ascomycota and Basidiomycota. Of interest to medical and veterinary mycologists, phytopathologists, food scientists, and ecologists, this volume explores the modern classification of this group. The book provides an overview of the genera found in the temperate zone of the Northern hemisphere as well as in a few tropical areas.
