Public țintă
Psychotherapists in private practice and in clinical settings. This includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and other mental health practitioners. We anticipate that this book will be of interest to those who want a taste of DBT and, thus, can serve as a primer. It can also serve as a feeder for Dr. Linehan s text and workbook in that people who want to become more expert after reading our book can be referred to these books.A secondary market for this book will be graduate students and psychiatric residents in clinical training programs. Such a book could be used as a text for a graduate level course in personality disorders, and as an introduction to DBT in a clinical course on cognitive–behavioral therapies and interventions. In addition, the book will be written in a style that will be accessible to consumers of mental health services and their families.
