The Dredge
Autor Brendan Flahertyen Limba Engleză Hardback – 5 mar 2024
- This is a tale of multi-generational violence and shows how it's not just the wounds that we inherit, but the guilt also.
- Unlike the many rural crime novels set in the American South, The Dredge is set northern Connecticut, giving it a unique foothold in the marketplace.
- We’re expecting a strong collection of blurbs from authors thriving in the rural crime space, including Brian Panowich and Eli Cranor.
- The Dredge doesn’t reach for cheap twists or unearned cliffhangers. Instead, it gives the reader an even-paced story that unfurls over multiple decades, showing the way guilt can metastasize, causing harm that spans generations.
- Brendan is already at work on a second book set in this universe.
- We’ll be publishing this book at the same time of year it’s set: mudseason.
- We’ll deploy a robust influencer outreach campaign designed to seed a groundswell of early reader support and promotion, particularly in the crime/thriller space.
