The Dutch Doll lives in the mountains of Appalachia. He only visits young children who believe in him. He's an odd mythical-looking creature with a small round face and two pointed ears sticking out atop of his hairy head, a sharp curved nose, two slanted bulging eyes, and a petite jagged mouth. His fur parts straight down his back and dangles to the ground in thick straight curly clumps. His fur is so long that you can't tell if he has legs or just four large feet protruding out from his body. He has a long, narrow neck and bushy eyebrows that droop down into his eyes. He is a very strange peculiar-looking creature to everyone that has seen him. There's nothing else like him in the world, and he knows everything Vickie and Kathy are two girls from the hills of eastern Kentucky who met the Dutch Doll. It's an adventure they will never forget
