Recenzii

“The Eastern Arctic Seas Encyclopedia is an alphabetically arranged, dictionary-style work covering the geographic area of the Laptev Sea, East Siberian Sea, and Chukchi Sea. … The strength of this book is its focus on Russian areas, people, and topics, and it would make an excellent addition to library collections focused on Russia or the East. Summing Up: Highly recommended. Undergraduates through professionals/practitioners; general readers.” (B. Galbraith, Choice, Vol. 54 (10), June, 2017)
“The coverage is generally very comprehensive. … The book is well designed and produced and is notable for a large number of illustrations, many in colour. … There is a very large amount of information in this remarkably compact book, much of which is on topics either new to many Western readers or otherwise not readily accessible. It is presented in an elegant single volume with useful and relevant illustrations.” (Stuart James, Area Studies, Vol. 31 (4), 2017)
