JOSEPHINE SHAW is Salvesen Chair of European Institutions at the University of Edinburgh, UK. She was, until recently, Professor of European Law and Jean Monnet Chair at the University of Manchester. Her earlier appointments include a post as Professor of European Law and Jean Monnet Chair of European Law and Integration at the University of Leeds and Director of the Centre for the Study of Law in Europe.JO HUNT is a Lecturer at Cardiff Law School, UK, and is the current Legal Developments contributor to the Journal of Common Market Studies Annual Review. She was formerly Lecturer at the University of Leeds, teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the area of EU law.CHLOE WALLACE is a Lecturer in the Department of Law at the University of Leeds, UK. She was Visiting Lecturer at the University Jean Moulin Lyon III, France and at the University of Le Mans, France, in 2004.
