After the events of The Elixir War, the Elixir facilities are rebuilt, and new trade routes are established for other planets. Getting the Elixir to the planet Foridian proves difficult as space pirates from Ganta Zay patrol that route, stopping ships at will. Former RPF pilot Evalycer Nicholls is pulled into service to get the cargo safely to the planet, but something in Evalycer's past puts Prince Jory and his team in jeopardy.
