When the American government begins seizing citizens' weapons, ammunition, and food in the midst of increasing global chaos, the Porter family flees to their emergency underground bunker.

As they attempt to forge a new life while the outside world descends into chaos, they must send out scouts to gather information-and bring back survivors.

One such survivor tells of a government encampment where people are being held and slaughtered for food. The group decides to set out and rescue as many of these prisoners as they can.

Emerging into the world, they find natural disasters and a corrupt World Council have brought the earth to the brink of devastation.

But suddenly, a man named Anthony Clemenz arises out of Europe, announcing that he can rid the world of its troubles. Could he be the one to save them all? Or does he have a darker motivation in mind?
