A young man sets out to create a new political party. After a lot of hard work together with a measure of good luck he eventually succeeds. Ever popular with the electorate he becomes a dictator, this sets at odds with the establishment and he is eventually assassinated. His wife takes over the reins and on a trip to Russia she is abducted by Chechen rebels and this precipitates her descent to madness.
