NICHOLAS V. GIANARIS is Professor of Economics and Director of the Business and Information Sciences Program at Fordham University, Lincoln Center in New York City. Dr. Gianaris is the author of The Economics of the Balkan Countries (Praeger, 1982), Greece and Yugoslavia (Praeger, 1984), Greece and Turkey (Praeger, 1988), and Contemporary Public Finance (Praeger, 1989).
