In this opening short story we follow Joseph Sullivan, Senior Regulator Of The Council Of Twelve, as he tracks a rogue Succubus to the grand old Imperial Hotel. However, nothing ever runs smoothly for Sullivan and before long things go awry as people begin disappearing. It isn't long until the experienced Regulator is nose to nose with an unspeakable horror.
