The Famous Pianist Who Went To Heaven

Autor Monte Jaffe
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 6 aug 2020
The Famous Pianist Who Went To Heaven is about one of the most annoying gifts given to the human race, the gift of Choice. The story goes that Cain was about to murder his brother when God appeared and informed Cain that he was free to do anything he wanted, but that he had to live the rest of his life with the consequences of his choice. Cain could hate or he could love. His choice. Two fish were swimming in the sea. One fish turned to the other and asked, "Do you believe in water?" This story is not about the fish, it's about the water. No water, no fish. Is love the water we swim in? But then, what is love? Is love nothing more than a silly platitude people believe in so preachers and rabbis have something to do on weekends? Ruth and Clyde want a child. After many attempts, Ruth becomes pregnant and has a miscarriage. Both she and the child die in childbirth. Clyde succumbs to despair. Eventually he dies. Well, we know all about death don't we? Actually, never having died, we can't really speak from experience. Maybe there's something we don't know about death. Maybe there's something we don't know about hate. Before you make a choice, maybe you should read this novel. By the way, they say eating fish is good for the brain. So it wouldn't hurt to have some gefilte fish before you start reading. There you have it. Love or Hate. Sounds simple doesn't it? It's not.
