The Church of the Corinthians was in trouble. Divisions, local customs, and many other factors had led to a breakdown of communications between the members and the ministry they had embraced five years ago when Paul had established the church. Here Paul delivers a well deserved chewing out, as well as some helpful hints for setting their house in order.
