In fact, he has fallen through a flaw in the fabric of space and time to an earlier life as Oliver Cole, sailing ship captain in mid-nineteenth century Halifax. Cat does have help. Angle and Octave Daggon, two ghosts from the basement of Raymond's seaside house, have come to life again. Former school teacher Octave has a crush on Cat and former pirate Angle once preyed on Captain Cole and wants to make amends.
