Jason is abndoned on the streets of New York when is four years old. Brittany is orphaned at age eight. They meet at a very priviate high school. It is a school for students who could possibly be Mensa candidates as their I Q is among the top 2% of the population She is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and he is virtually pennyless, yet there is a bond betrween them. Jason was reluctant to establish a relationship with Brittany due to her vast wealth, while he was pennyless. Brittany told him that her wealth was a curse.
