The Galveston was a tri-mast schooner built entirely of wood without any iron metal on it. The engine was all aluminum as was the lead filled anchor. There was a reason for the yacht to be without iron on it; the ship carried below the waterline twenty Firefish, metal detecting torpedoes designed to penetrate any hull and set the ship afire with a phosphorus canister. The Galveston was a clandestine warship of considerable power. Frankly she could put the United States at war with Cuba in the matter of minutes if her owner Lisa Jane Massey got really pissed while in Havana. Lisa stayed away from Cuba for just that reason.
