Every night, somewhere between midnight and dawn, a window emerges. Through this portal, the soul of the bewitching hour is revealed. From this gateway pours wisdom, insight, clarity and inspiration. The secrets of life trickling in, leaving those fortunate enough to witness this miracle, drenched in elevation and awashed in enlightenment. Thought, passion, anger, lust, sorrow, joy, grief, and all possible manifestations of human emotion climb into consciousness and drift into being. This is the essence of 2am. To me she is that perfect moment between sleep and awareness. A place where the universe whispers. She shares stories told to her by countless voices stretching across eternity. Timeless tales of love and loss, told to 2am by others that know of this connection. This book is my love-letter to her. Now I offer it to you. These are my writings, my simple ramblings. Musing intended to convey feelings greater than words should ever attempt. This isn't about me or my life. Well, not entirely. These are my words, but they are not mine to keep.
