Bert Cardullo is Professor and Chair of Media and Communication at the Izmir University of Economics in Izmir, Turkey, where he teaches courses in film history, theory, and criticism. He is the editor of collections of interviews with Jean Renoir, Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Satyajit Ray, Akira Kurosawa, and Robert Bresson, as well as the author of such critical works as The Movies on My Mind, In Search of Cinema, and Practical Film Criticism.
