Louisa Moore, a wealthy middle-aged widow, sold her home in Mobile, AL, and purchased Seymour Plantation in Spanish Fort, on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. She was told the house was haunted and that no family had spent more than two months in the house during the past 15 years.
