The Gifts of the Apple Tree is an engagingly sweet musical program suited for pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade students. Choose anywhere from just nine (see additional performance suggestions) to all fifteen short songs to produce a program that flows without dialogue or narration but with innocence and humor to tell the story of the life journey of an apple tree, from a tiny seed to a fruit-bearing specimen. Perform the entire program in about thirty minutes (half that time with the nine-song version) as you take the audience through two cycles of seasons. In the first cycle the children sing about the many ways we take care of a young seedling.
