This publication is the result of an extensive study based on 30 in-depth interviews with priests and pastoral workers in Holland. An account is given of their relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, their prayer life, reflective practice and lifestyle in other words: the shape of the spirituality of Dutch pastors. Attention is also given to the relation between their spirituality and their ministry: How do they influence one another? The main focus on the descriptions is on the imagery used by pastors to speak of their spirituality and ministry.
