Whether it be creating a rainbow out of different colored handkerchiefs or filling up the sky with flying doves carrying playing cards, the feats carried out by a would-be magician fill the pages of this book about everyday magic. Although not really a magician, the main character imagines himself to be one, accomplishing impressive tricks such as changing night into day and back again. This amusing and colorful story helps children discover the magic of the everyday and to perceive the world as a spectacular magic show in its own right.
