With his newfound animal friends, he learns about confidence, strength, patience, and courage. The Great Safari Adventure also teaches Coleman about the value of friendship and trust, which will carry him through many adventures in life. The author hopes to motivate kids to be active and learn the world around them through exploration and physical activity. Kent R. Buckner lives in Hollywood, California, where he is a fitness trainer and a coach.
