Returning from his travels Kittal, Nejus of Keytel, has reluctantly ended up with a new wife. Visiting his brother to reclaim his leadership he finds that his younger brother won't give up the regency and he also has a rescue mission to organise as Protector of all dragons. Thankfully he has his fellow dragon riders, his Suwars, to help him.
