This book is the fourth in a five-novel series About Chancy Flint, a young man who is suddenly forced to face adult responsibilities and dangerous situations at a very young age. By age twenty Chancy had already faced more danger than many men face in a lifetime. He grew up straight and strong, tempered by adversity, not defeated by it.
