Public țintă

It is likely that the greatest use of this volume will be at the graduate and post graduate level in criminology and criminal justice. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of the field, this work could also be used in graduate courses in Sociology, Psychology, Demography, and Social work. However, the chapters included will not be written at a highly technical level, thus it may be appropriately used by practitioners and agency researchers as well as academic criminologists.
The volume will be able to serve as a guide to the measurement issues involved in conducting research in a number of areas of criminology and criminal justice. It is anticipated that each chapter will identify the principal measurement decisions that have to be made in conducting research in a particular area along with the consequences of such decisions. As such, it will serve as a broad based guide for those interested in conducting research on a wide variety of topics and issues in criminology and criminal justice.
