This novel is set in an imaginary time and place, populated by creative Farekan Warriors, arrogant Kuarentian Soldiers and a subtle type of magic given by mysterious gods. This world is populated with rich characters, such as Damos, a warrior with an anger he cannot control; Terrenis, a high ranking soldier who has lost the taste for killing, and Kinella, a woman whose ambitions conflict with her growing feelings for Damos.
