The coconut tree is one of the most versatile plants in existence. Whilst we are all familiar with the coconut as a food source not many people know the myriad of other benefits the coconut holds. Here in the Caribbean the coconut husks are used as floor brushes and the shell as fine jewelry. The shells are also used as bowls, utensils and in some places floatation devices for rafts.
