Notă biografică

Tim J Huff was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and has been in full-time frontline social justice work for over 30 years-serving, learning, and teaching across North America and around the world. He is a much sought-after national speaker in addition to being a best-selling and award-winning author-illustrator of children's books. Adding to his impressive resume of leadership and service, Tim founded and currently leads Youth Unlimited's Compassion Series program for children, youth, families and classrooms - a unique hub of creative, interactive and relational compassion-focused resources. Tim is the author of eight book titles of which six have been nominated-for or won national publishing awards. His books include: Bent Hope: a Street Journal; Dancing with Dynamite: Celebrating Against the Odds, which won Best Canadian Book of the Year award in 2011; The Yuletide Factor: Cause for Perpetual Comfort and Joy; and his illustrated children's books, The Cardboard Shack Beneath the Bridge: Helping Children Understand Homelessness; It's Hard Not to Stare: Helping Children Understand Disabilities; The Honour Drum: Sharing the Beauty of Canada's Indigenous People with Children, Families and Classrooms; Am I Safe?: Exploring Fear and Anxiety with Children, and his most recent release Make Way for the Christmas Hush a timeless book for children of all ages, all published by Castle Quay Books. Many of his titles are available as audio books as well. Tim, married to Diane, is the father of two beloved young adult children - Sarah Jane and Jake.
