Gheorghe Georgiana-Laura a dat nota:

Review for “The Horse and His Boy” by C. S. Lewis: “The Horse and His Boy” is the fifth book of the Chronicles of Narnia series, in which author C. S. Lewis introduces us into the wonderful, perilous, magical and adventurous world of Narnia. The action of the novel takes place in Calormen and Archenland, two neighboring countries south of Narnia. The main character is Shasta whose life changes ever since he met Bree, a talking horse. They both run away from Calormen to not be turned to slaves. Along the way they make friends and also find out about the Calormenes’ plot against the Narnians. Our heroes decide to go warn the Narnians. Will our heroes manage to get to Narnia in time and stop the war? Adventure, suspense, magic, talking animals and much more awaits the curious readers who want to venture into C. S. Lewis’ fascinating world. Friendship, courage, trust, loyalty are some of the things you’ll learn from this novel. The writer’s imagination is unequaled and the world which he created is an extraordinary evolution in the fantasy literature world similar to the ones created by: J. K. Rowling, Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian and J. R. R. Tolkien. Mr. Lewis brings to life the stories and fairy tales from old times which were full of bold heroes, adventures in fantastic realms, dangers and after much hard work and many obstacles good triumphs over evil. Bree can be associated with a character who we always meet in the Romanian fairy tales, namely, the magical horse or flying horse and the hero’s counselor, who like the Narnian horse, he repays the protagonist’s kindness by offering his friendship and helping him throughout his journey. I recommend this book to readers of all ages.
