Recenzii
Deliciously sinister
Murder and mayhem will keep you turning the pages long past midnight. If you liked The Secret History, you'll love this
Deeply spooky, compulsively readable
Scary, sexy, sultry and shimmering
Gripping and tense, with an atmosphere which holds you in thrall
Atmospheric and compelling - impressive
A stunning piece of modern Gothic
Resounds with echoes of Daphne du Maurier. Like Rebecca, at the heart of this story is a house and a young naïve narrator. Suggestions of the horrors that lie in wait are scattered through the book like a trail of breadcrumbs, leading you even deeper into the dark forest of Whitehouse's creation, at the heart of which lies deceit, cowardice and murder
