Douglas Maxwell was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a Lord Astbury Scholar at Middle Temple. He completed a PhD in public and property law at the University of Cambridge, UK, and subsequently worked in research roles at the University of Oxford, UK, and the Law Commission, UK.
