The Hunt

The night was black with no moon in sight. The darkness was suddenly interrupted by a bright ball of orange and yellow. Burt, John, and Ken jumped to their feet, watching in amazement from where they were fishing.

Burt sat in his cover as one magnificent animal was challenged by another. The young bull went down, never to rise again.
