Notă biografică

Dr Khair Jahan Sogra is a Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and received a PhD in Gender Differences and Choice of Conflict Management Styles of Managers in Bangladesh from Macquarie University, Australia. She holds an MBA degree from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and another MBA degree from the University of Dhaka. She has extensive training in gender and development issues in Canada, the UK, and Sri Lanka. She teaches courses in Human Resource Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Conflict Management in Organisations, Human Resource Planning, Training and Development, and Organisational Behaviour. Her research interests include gender issues in organisations. She has published research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has extensive consultancy experiences in gender and related issues, and has worked with the Government of Bangladesh, broader civil society, and various development partners both within and outside the country as a gender consultant and trainer.
