Gaynor Johnson is Senior Lecturer in International History at the University of Salford, UK and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. She is the author and editor of a number of books on twentieth century international history including The Berlin Embassy of Lord D'Abernon, 1920-1926; Locarno Revisited: European Diplomacy 1920-1929 and Our Man in Berlin: the Diary of Sir Eric Phipps, 1933-1937.
