His squadron was deployed to Viet Nam in 1967. Since his discharge he has worked a variety of jobs ranging from a deck hand on a lobster boat to roughnecking on oil rigs and about everything in between. Today he leads a quiet life in Florida where he raises Asian Swamp Cats.
