Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is a world famous centre for botanical and mycological knowledge. Over the past 250 years Kew has made innumerable contributions to increasing the understanding of plants and fungi with many benefits for humankind.
Helena Dove is the Kitchen Gardener at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and previously worked at Myddelton House Gardens in Enfield, London. She has written for magazines including Garden News, The Plant Heritage, as well as the Kew Blog. She trained in horticulture on the Historic and Botanic Gardening Training Scheme and studied her RHS qualifications at Writtle College.
