Castor is a divorced father of two grown children who has chosen solitude on his farm. Bianca is an abused eleven-year-old. Through a series of events after they meet, Castor faces Bianca's tormentor and the system that refuses to help her. Bianca encourages Castor into multiple relationships that destroy his solitude and give him a fulfilling life.
