The poetic tales in The Lancashire Poems have been inspired and written about places Dean has visited in the wonderful Red Rose County and the people he encountered along the way. Some of these are people he met, others from the past brought to life once again through the power of words. Dean Fraser was born in Preston, Lancashire...erm, some time ago. Although he has lived in many places he always seemed to gravitate back to his home town or as it is now Preston City, so much so that at the time he wrote this book he lived there.
