The Last Night at Auschwitz

In the autumn of 1944, a young professor of ancient history is embarked on a freight train and, along with thousands of other prisoners, is deported to Auschwitz. He only has a few weeks to escape, until starvation would cloud his judgement, until his body would become too weak to fight. Will he prevail?
