en Limba Engleză Paperback
Are you afraid of the park? Devil's Slide. The Morphing Stairs. Albino colonies, crazy hermits, and hanging trees. If you're from Omaha, you know the stories about Hummel Park, a secluded, hilly park near the Missouri River. If you're not, well, it's high time you learn. Of course, they're only stories, right? Or are they...? See for yourself what happens when one terrifying night a group of teens decide to investigate the rumors themselves in the blood-curdling tale The Legend of Hummel Park. Not yet afraid? Good, because that's not all If you dare, inside these pages you will: QUIVER at the gruesome story of a conjoined twin that needs a sisterly favor. ASTONISH at the unfortunate boy who is told there is no Santa Claus. TREMBLE when a wedding deejay decides he's had it with playing banal songs. SHOCK at the soon-to-be electrified man. MARVEL at the elderly gentleman who has a rescue dog foisted upon him. These and other stories that are too scary to mention are certain to thrill and chill even the most hardened reader. Consider yourself warned The frightening stories contained within are written by Jeremy Morong, author of The Adventures of Braxton Revere and On the Backs of Dragons, with horrifying, heart-stopping art by the incomparable Jill Davis LeBlanc.
