On Dec 7th, 1941, Imperial Japan bombed the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, thus bringing the United States into World War II. Yet less than six month later, American and British Chiefs of Staff are planning for the landing of American forces in North Africa in the long process towards defeating Germany first.
