Allyson Russell originally wrote The Lizard Who Wanted to be a Mouse in third grade for the national writing program, The Young Authors' Conference. She lives in Carmel Indiana with her twin sister, Alexis, her parents, and dog, Emma. She loves to write (of course!), read, travel, swim, snow ski, and hang out with her friends. Jennifer Bubp is an art teacher at Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana. She is a graduate of DePauw University and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She is a muralist and freelance illustrator, specializing in child friendly themes. More importantly, she is a devoted wife and proud mother of three boys; and she is an active member of Grace Community Church in Noblesvillle, Indiana, where much of her artwork is dedicated.
